The AKC (American Kennel Club) recently announced their list of the most popular breeds for 2006. Here’s the top ten:

1. Labrador Retrievers
2. Yorkshire Terriers
3. German Shepherd
4. Golden Retrievers
5. Beagles
6. Dachshunds
7. Boxers
8. Poodles
9. Shih Tzu
10. Miniature Schnauzers

You can view the most popular dogs by city, or see the entire list on the AKC website.
